Role Overview:

The Graduate Designer will work closely with our highly skilled Design team to learn on the job skills. The Graduate Designer will assist Senior Designers in the development, modelling and prototype testing of machine design. The highly varied role will also require the Graduate Designer to provide design support for the onsite production team.

This role is offered for full time or part time hours with hybrid onsite and work from local home flexibility. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Senior Designers in the development, 3D modelling, and prototype testing of machine designs.

  • Collaborate with the Design team to support the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.

  • Provide design support to the onsite production team, ensuring smooth translation of design concepts into practical, manufacturable solutions.

  • Participate in team meetings and design reviews to continuously improve product quality and efficiency.

  • Maintain and organise design files, documentation, and records as required including generating production documentation eg. Assembly Instructions, part number allocation and BOM development in Cin7, process specific files (profile cutting lists, DXF’s), supplier files, spare parts manuals and Machine Operator Manuals
