Davimac Group is made up of a diverse range of tradespeople, apprentices, salespeople, designers, and other skilled professionals. Many of our earliest recruits are still with us today and have seen their careers develop from unskilled labouring to fully qualified tradesmen, foremen, and team managers. Current Positions

 

Welder Labourer Position Available

Due to the growth of our business we are now looking for a full time Welder Labourer. 

About You:

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Strong team focus

  • Has solid experience in the labouring.

  • competent in mig welding of mild steel and sheet metal to heavy thickness welding.

  • works to a high standard in grinding, sanding and cleaning of jobs.

  • workshop experience.

  • high standards in work ethic.

  • has a good eye for detail and safety conscious.

  • preferably has 2 years welding experience.

  • forklift licence is an advantage.

This position is based at our Molong workshop. Work hours are 7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 1.00pm Friday. Overtime hours may be required.

Administration Coordinator Position Available

Due to the growth of our business we are now looking for a full time Administration Coordinator.

About You:

The successful applicant will have: 

  • Strong team focus

  • Previous experience in administration role.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues.

  • Effective time management and works efficiently.

  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive.

This position is based at our Molong workshop. Work hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm Friday. Overtime hours may be required.

Fabrication Tradesperson Position Available

Due to the growth of our business we are now looking for a full time Fabrication Tradesperson

About You:

The successful applicant will have: 

  • strong team focus

  • has solid experience in fabrication

  • able to read and follow drawings.

  • sound experience in mig welding with high standards.

  • measuring and cutting to size from raw materials.

  • high standards in work ethic and work quality.

  • has a good eye for detail and safety conscious.

  • proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities

  • forklift licence is an advantage.

This position is based at our Molong workshop. Work hours are 7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am to 1.00pm Friday. Overtime hours may be required.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER POSITION AVAILABLE

Due to the growth of our business we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to strategically lead and direct the financial functions of the group. Whilst reporting to and supporting the CEO ensures strategic business decisions are informed, relevant and consistent with agreed performance measures, strategic and operational objectives with-in the Groups various business plans.

About You:

The key portfolio accountability of the role will entail matters including, but not limited to:

  • Financial & Management Accountability

  • Budgeting and Cash-flow Management

  • Payroll Functions

  • Statutory Obligations including Taxation

  • Company Insurances

  • Third Party Relationship Management

  • Records and Reporting

  • Financial Policies and Procedures

  • Other General Management Accountability such as Sustainability and Business Continuity

The position is Permanent Part-time, with flexible hours suitable to successful candidate.
