Role Overview:
The position of Parts and Procurement Manager is a senior full-time role, responsible for the procurement of goods and management of spare parts stores and services for resale and company use.
The role is to predominantly seek the best available quality for the lowest price, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and review product quality. This role is highly varied and will require the successful applicant to audit processes, identify market trends, service the Dealer network, create highly effective supplier relationships - whilst also assisting clients with spare part enquiries and order preparations.
Company vehicle included in salary package. Potential to support the right candidate through Cert 4 in Supply Chain Operations training.
Key Accountabilities:
External parts sales, including margin and pricing structure
Internal store management, usage analysis, ensuring stock availability.
External customer service
Procurement structure and consignment - servicing products
Support the Sales Team in shared sales goals
Role Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting clients with enquiries on spare parts.
Ensuring all spare parts orders are sent out in a timely manner.
Inwards and outward freight control (in conjunction with Spare Parts Interpreter).
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate and close deals with optimal terms.
Spare parts pricing.
Perform cost analysis and benchmarking.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for stock control.
Spare parts budget and review.
Update and manage spare parts in on-line shop.
Planning and executing of yearly stocktake.
Proactively manage the return to supplier process.
Liaise with Production regarding spare parts production.
Essential Criteria:
Warehouse inventory management system experience.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Technical understanding.
Strong team focus.
Pays close attention to detail.
Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
Excellent communication skills.
Effective time management and works efficiently.
Ability to self manage workload.
