Role Overview:
The role of the Fabrication Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned department within the Davimac Group. The role is responsible for managing the team and the coordination of all departmental tasks. The role will be required to undertake ‘hands on’ duties as a member of the team. The role of Team Leader, is fast paced and highly varied, daily tasks are self-directed under the supervision of the Production Manager.
Foreman:
Prioritise and coordinate fabrication tasks for the team
Delegate individual responsibilities and projects
Manage and report on project status, budgets and quality standards
Communicate resourcing needs to management
Time management skills
Ensure a safe work culture
Mentoring and empowering a great team
Process-driven role with accuracy to detail extremely important
All work to be produced to the Davimac standard
Apprentice Support
Support TAFE learning with practical workplace experiences
Ensure Apprentice TAFE workload is kept up to date
General
Other duties as directed by the Production Manager,
Human Resources Manager or Managing Director.
Partake and assist in Company training and development.
Ensure work is conducted in a safe manner.
